Can you overflow one of the glasses with water by using the other?
The glasses don't fit inside one another.
Explanation
Two glasses each filled to 1/3 cannot overflow one another. At most, you'd get 2/3 full. This is a closed system — the only way to overflow it is by adding more water from outside. Our economy is the same. This is where all inflation comes from — from new money being endlessly printed and poured into the system.
